Football fans are often divided by their loyalties to their respective clubs but the footballing
world came together today to condemn Chelsea’s Diego Costa after the Spanish striker’s
antics against Arsenal.
The former Atletico Madrid striker could easily have been sent off after aiming a swipe at
Laurent Koscielny and becoming embroiled in a tangle with Gabriel but was instead given a
yellow card.
To make matters worse for Arsenal fans, it was Gabriel that was given his marching orders
by Mike Dean after the Brazilian defender kicked out at the Chelsea forward.
And it wasn’t just Gunners that took to social media to hit out at the 26-year-old, it was
pretty
much all football fans.
